Subways Still Aren’t going from BK to Manhattan. Here’s an Idea that sucks less than the shuttle bus.  Hey I’m not saying this is a particularly great option - but in light of the up-to-two-hour-wait for buses to connect from brooklyn to manhattan - I just thought I’d point out that it’s a 90 minute walk from Jay St to Herald Square at a leisurely pace.  If I had to get into the city from brooklyn, or vice versa, (which I do this weekend so I may just be trying this) I’d pack an umbrella and a bottle of water and give the 4 mile walk a go. My daily commute, round trip, already includes about 2 miles of walking, so I’m sure this sucks, but it probably sucks less than standing and waiting for a bus.  Also - Up yours to google maps for suggesting public transit.
