Following a very serious office discussion on the influence of the price is right on modern user interface design I’ve reached an important, but tangential conclusion:
CLIFFHANGERS was clearly the best game on the price is right.
First of all, yeah yeah yeah plinko. But I’m leaving plinko off out of this because plinko could have been, and SHOULD have been it’s own game show. Are you kidding me? Primetime plinko? It’d be bigger than American Idol.
Regardless, back to cliffhangers. What an amazing game. Look at this little yodeling, mountain climbing, liederhosen-clad jackass who’s perfectly happy to lemming up the mountain - in the face of certain peril - guided by nothing but Auntie Mildred’s poorly informed price guesses.
I wonder if anyone has ever intentionally guessed wrong just to see the little weirdo plummet off the cliff.
