So today the MTA and the transit museum ran a “Holiday Nostalgia Special” consisting of 70 and 80 year old subway cars. It ran down the M Line from Queens Plaza down to 2nd Ave.
The best part of riding it was seeing the looks on the faces of people on the platform waiting for a regular train, who see this 70+ year old consist and visually mouth “what the fuck”.
